Another one of my very own DIY Hairstyles! Curls… and all i need is a curler!
I used to wonder if i ever suit centre parting hairdo. Not until i really try them myself. I think i look ok with it but you need some simple techniques to do up those tresses to suit your face shape. Let me share how i did mine to make myself pretty enough for centre parting hairdo.. Or at least i feel it’s good enough for many to comment about my hair. Many thought i had them permed but i prefer these curls to my then permed ones. I had them permed many years back though… Nothing like my own DIY curls……..
Firstly, the crown of my head needs alittle volume so i don’t look too flat headed. Abit of backcomb works wonder! Or like what i did, push my hair up alittle and apply some hair spray to hold it there. Then, in order to look slimmer on my face area, i kept my fringe shoulder lengthed so it elongates and defines my face shape. Personally, i prefer natural looking curls. Either waves or big curls which tend to look sexier… Try to tong those curls half the hair length instead of the whole head… trust me, it will look less “matured” having a whole head of curls!
I usually part my very fine and thin hair into 4 parts. And i tong them with my Plilips curler which i bought for more than 5 years now! Yes, It is still working very well today.
Everything should take no more than 15 minutes to get it done! Sometimes i could do it in 10 minutes if i want more natural looking curls…. It’s really easy and convenient! Try it!
