What are Stem Cells
If you have yet to know what Stem Cells are, it’s good for every one of us to equip ourselves with some basic information at least. To me, this is like an advanced stage in Medical terms! Let me share some of my knowledge here…. Stem cells are some undifferentiated biological cells that can differentiate into specialised cells to produce more cells. It can act as a repair system for the body to replenish the adult tissues. Researches are apparently underway to develop cures for many common diseases and medical conditions. Even beauty products like skin care are using plant stem cells to regenerate skin cells to help reverse aging. It is that amazing!
Since I’m a beauty blogger, I would prefer to share and blog more about Stem Cells that can help us to look younger! So, let’s understand more about these amazing technology in skin care. Does it really help to anti-age?
Plant Stem Cells and its benefits
Stem cell in skin care is really a high level in dermatology! It produces signaling molecules that promote skin regeneration and hence helps in anti-aging. I’ve tried several products that have plant stem cells and I’ve found that the serum has faster and more visible results as compared to one without. From my understanding in skin care products, stem cells increase the ability to fight off free radicals thus energizing the skin cells which then produces more collagen and elastin. When that happens, all the natural functions will improve and the skin will appear healthier, toned and hydrated. When our skin appears hydrated, naturally we will look younger without wrinkle lines appearing on them.
Many skin care manufacturers believed in Stem Cells because the medical researchers have studies to prove the strong ability of treating chronic conditions through Stem Cells. It apparently can regenerate and form almost any cell type in the body. They are now hoping that these stem cells can deliver the powerful results in cosmetics industry the same way as they have in medicine.
Stem cells contain growth factors, which play a role in cell division, the growth of new cells, and the production of collagen and elastin; and proteins, which regulate that stem-cell division. When applied to your skin, these components help firm wrinkles and slow the development of new lines. Products that contain antioxidant-rich fruits or plants as a source offer free-radical-fighting benefits too. Apple stem cells are by far the most common in anti-aging beauty products. There is some research conducted on a small group of 20 subjects, found that apple stem cell extracts reduces the outlook of crow’s-feet.
I’m currently testing a range of Stem cells skin care. Would love to share this with all my readers if it is really effective. Let me be the guinea pig first ya!
